I'm a veteran and my dental was sent to community care by the veterans. Couldn't ask for a nicer staff. Gave me a plan of action, now just waiting on the veterans to approve it.

Terrible customer service. They only care about getting cash. I asked several times before my procedure if they got approval from my new insurance and they told me all was good. I specifically waited til new insurance kicked in. Thry started the 1st part of the work. Then I find out my claim was denied. They demanded $4000 to.compete the work. Wouldn't reduce price at all. They said it was illegal to do that, which is a lie. I told them it was their fault and their attitude was "well we forgot." Sasha outright lied to me and told me she did it. They wouldn't even admit she was wrong and offered 0 apologies and said it was my fault for not knowing my insurance.

Ever since Dr. Bernier turned over the reins of this practice to his successor a couple of years ago, the level of professionalism and customer service has seen a steady decline at Bernier Dental. Starting with a tooth extraction appointment a couple of years ago that had to be rescheduled twice (the first due to the staff not informing me of any pre-procedure requirements and the second due to the doctor needing to attend a training - in both cases, the re-scheduling occurred within 24 hours of the appointment date and time) and that extraction ultimately having to be transferred to another practice altogether, to the rescheduling of a routine cleaning, for which the scheduler informed me today that the scheduled hygienist was taking the day off and that my appointment would need to be re-scheduled 2 months out (making my last cleaning 9 months ago), there seem to be consistent issues with any type of appointment at Bernier. Regardless, I'm taking my business and the care of my teeth elsewhere (I called another practice and due to a cancellation, I'm getting in tomorrow afternoon, having spoken with a very helpful, courteous employee of that practice to who genuinely cared about my dental care needs and concerns). At one time, when run by Dr. Bernier, this was a great place to receive dental care - that is no longer the case.
